LO4: In Static Film Trailer - Draft
To improve this draft I need to correct some of the editing that don't match conventions of a trailer, such as an argument scene from the Boss and Connor that features an unnecessary cut.

LO4: Sound Editing
For the trailer, we also needed voice notes from Connor that followed the trailer. I created a short script for this purpose and met up with Connor on the 8th of June to record the voice notes. Once we began editing, I had to edit the sound by increasing the audio gain and reducing hissing on Adobe Audition.
The music used in our trailer are all from the educational site Audio Network, which features free downloadable tracks to use for film purposes.

LO4: Editing Logs and Evidence of Storage
I was the main editor in our group which meant I had to cut down the hours of footage we collected from shooting in all the locations to match the storyboards and script, keeping the
narrative flowing using the appropriate conventions of a film trailer. I used Adobe Premiere to edit our trailer.
Before editing, I created an edit log shown above, which I used to plan out the general order of where all the footage would go.

As you can see, the bottom left corner of the above image are the "bins", which contain the images and footage I want to import into my project. I named all the bins to match what footage is in each one, the one shown is named "Basement" as it contains all the footage we took down in the UTC basement.
The right half of the Premiere workspace is the actual project taking place, with the top being the screen we can view our project-in-process on, and the bottom being the footage and music we are editing.
The bottom area, the workspace, shows the cut footage, effects, and music I am using, with different layers allowing clips and sounds to overlap one another.
Here I am editing the scene where Connor Wright (Wilson) and Ronnie (Luke) are heading toward the flat to take drugs.

Production Schedule - Week 4
We found an available date for Wilson to shoot with us, and explained the scene in the script we were shooting.
The next date planned was at my house in New School Close on Saturday 3rd of May. This scene was Connor at his ex-girlfriend's house asking her for help. The ex-girlfriend was played by our tutor Miss Allen, who is seen answering the door before accusing Connor (Wilson) of using drugs again.
Afterwards we also shot another scene of Connor burying a body at the fields behind my estate, using a fake body that I created before the shoot using newspaper to fill up jeans and a coat before wrapping it all up in bin liner. The body looked surprisingly convincing! We also used an old wheelbarrow to catch shots of Connor wheeling the body to the ditch.
The field scene only required Connor, however, we got some additional shots not on the shot plan of Lewis walking in the field with his hood up to maybe incorporate a scene where someone is hunting for Connor.
